M4.4 Earthquake hits Arctic Ocean north of Greenland

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 on the Richter scale hit the Arctic Ocean north of Greenland on April 22, 2014, at 10:30:23 UTC at a depth of 10.00 km (6.2 mi).

The epicenter of the quake is located right on the faultline that crosses the Arctic Ocean, at 83.328°N 4.568°W, 262km (163mi) NE of Nord, Greenland.

The earthquake follows another earthquake that hit the Arctic Ocean closeby on this faultline, on April 13, 2014, north of Franz Josef Land.

Earthquakes at this location are very worrying, as they can destabilize hydrates contained in the sediment under the seafloor of the Arctic Ocean. Furthermore, one earthquake can trigger further earthquakes, especially at locations closeby on the same faultline.

    1. Thanks Sam as the second version is much more clear, I even wrote a third on G+ today.
Certainly the plan capable of stopping the acceleration of entropy rise will need to be open to update and quality improvement as if an Open system of its own. But Earth is in process of a quantum shift to closed system so emergency action is needed to retool monetary basis.

  2. Somehow we need to stop the dissociation of Methane Hydrate and the heat pulse increase that seems to have taken on a life of its own, all the while keeping crops growing for >7 billion people.
This can best be accomplished by changing the world so instead of resources flowing to where the money gravitates by volume, changing that to where quality of use is considered relative to the goal stated above.
Truth is, Earth is pretty far gone. People know it is BAD but the powers-that-be who are in control are wrapped up in the whirlwind of the perfect storm brewing.
But if this alteration can be made then the best use of resources would tend to flow to reverse the perfect storm in a magic moment. The perfect storm would cease to be forced to brew. And coffee could grow. And hope would stay alive -And the ingenuity of youth would take off like gangbusters..
